Organizational Attention Research Project: Invited Scholar - Ravi S. Kudesia

Organizational Attention

Our team got the chance to meet Ravi S. Kudesia, Assistant Professor at Temple University's Fox School of Business and Management. His research on Mindfulness as metacognitive practice puts forward the idea that attention in organizations should be seen as dynamic and fluctuating through time instead of stable, which impacts both theoretically and in practice how attention should be managed in organizations. Through a fruitful discussion, we explored the temporal aspects of attention and the input of Mindfulness as a metacognitive practice in organizational settings.
