Organizational Attention Research Project: Invited Scholar - Wayne Brekhus

We were extremely pleased to meet with Professor Wayne Brekhus, Chair of the University of Missouri’s Department of Sociology. His work focuses on the Marked and the Unmarked from a social, cultural, and cognitive point of view, which allows for a highly relevant questioning of how reality is socially constructed and gives a prominent role to attention as a testimony of this social construct. Our meeting led to a fruitful and captivating conversation about studying organizational attention in the context of our research project. We can only recommend Professor Brekhus' work and will be happy to follow his future projects.
